• Only brand new, flawless engines without gas or oil added will be eligible for returns.
• If you have added gas or oil to the engine you may not return the engine due to carrier regulations and safety reasons.
• If you have already added gas or oil, please contact the manufacturer directly for service, warranty, return, and refund information.
• Replacement parts and products other than engines are not eligible for returns (clutches, accessories, parts, etc.)
• All engine returns must be received within 30 days from the original purchase date.
• If your engine is started without oil, there are no returns or warranty of any kind.
If an engine is returned and is not in original or new condition, the engine will be retained by Carroll Stream Motor Company. The transaction will be final and the buyer will receive no compensation.
It is up to the buyer to provide accurate information regarding replacement of original equipment (i.e. physically measuring the output shaft of your engine). We rely on your supplied information to suggest a correct replacement engine. Any incorrect information leading to the purchase of a replacement engine is the sole responsibility of the buyer and will be subject to restocking fee and return shipping charges.
All authorized engine returns will be charged a 20% restocking fee to cover inspection, testing, repackaging, cleaning, etc. The customer will be responsible for both the original outbound and return shipping charges. When returning items listed with Free Shipping, customers will be deducted the actual outbound shipping and handling amount from their refund.
Eligible engine returns must be returned in the original packaging with full insurance and tracking information supplied to us upon return. All online, mail orders, fax orders and phone orders are assumed that the customer has read and agreed on the above written policies.
Any special order sales will be final, meaning no returns.
Any pre-ordered item cancellation requires a 15% cancellation fee
Order cancellations must take place immediately (within 1 hour of purchase) by contacting us by email and getting a response from an employee, or talking to us on the phone. An order that has been shipped cannot be cancelled. If you refuse an order which has been shipped, you will be responsible for both the outbound, return and any express related shipping costs.
Express / Overnight Orders:
No Express or Overnight shipping charges will be refunded if returning an item. Any Express or overnight shipping charges must be paid with payable invoice, no exceptions.
