Great buy. Bought this engine for my tiller. It bolted right on. Started on the first pull. Very happy with this product. It is a lot quieter than my my old 4hp Briggs. No problem with the throttle lever. It's a little stiff but it's new. You can loosen the nut a little if you wanted to. I'm going to leave it right where it is.

I purchased this 6.5HP motor, because it was supposed to be a direct replacement for my motor, but the shaft bolt was not included with the motor and my bolt doesn't fit it. I searched the site and there is NO information on their site to tell me what bolt size it is nor the thread count needed to fit inside the shaft. I pulled out the cheap owners manual that was included and can find no information in there...I tried calling them several times and no one ever answers the phone when you try to call them at Carroll Stream. You email them and get no response either.
The throttle lever is also very hard to move, it works, but its not the way it should be, I would have to say I'm kind of disappointed in this product.
Very Poor Quality Product and a Very Poor Customer Service Department too boot.

i put this engine on my roto tiller it has by far out ran the briggs that i removed from it always starts first pull i am very happy with it
